Under the direction of the Supervisor-Electric T&D, Substations, this position assists in the construction and maintenance of de-energized overhead and underground equipment in electric substation facilities for the purpose of training and education. The intern will work between 20-25 hours per week during school semesters and 40 hours per week during summer, not exceeding 1,500 hours in a calendar year. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and graduate students in at least 6 credit hours each semester. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college and be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program. The intern position will conclude within three months after graduation.
