Performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and statutory duties in support of the Office of the County Clerk/Auditor. Provides customer service to the public in person, by telephone, and electronically regarding elections, taxation and abatements, marriage licensing, passports, records, and other general Clerk/Auditor functions. Processes applications, forms, filings, fees, and payments; manages deposits as assigned; and ensures accurate, confidential, and legally compliant recordkeeping in accordance with government records management laws. Assists with election preparation and operations, including voter registration support, responding to election related inquiries, and providing operational support during election cycles, which may require extended hours. Maintains, scans, files, archives, and retrieves records; receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail; and utilizes standard office software, databases, and specialized Clerk/Auditor systems.
