EKG/EEG, TECHNICIAN SUMMARY Performs EKG, EEG, Holter Monitors on patients at physician request. Provides leadership working cooperatively with other health care providers. MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED High School Graduate or equivalent secondary education skills. Successful completion of an educational program for EKG-EEG technician accredited by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation, or equivalent training. Must be certified in CPR. One year experience involving patient contact and decision-making.
