About The Position

Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital. Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed. Performs clerical tasks relating to tasks performed by the Cardiovascular Labs, (scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs). Maintains equipment and keep updated. Maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier. Reports: Director Cardiovascular Labs, Lead EKG Technician Supervises: None

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational/technical school degree (job related)
  • 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience
  • Knowledge of arrhythmias.
