We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Technician to support both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services. This position plays a vital role in the accurate performance of cardiac testing and in the smooth operation of the department. Requirements

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
• 3 years of EKG experience
• Experience preferred in Holter and event recorders, and cardiac stress testing
• Office experience, typing, experience in hospital setting with patient contact

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms (EKGs), treadmill tests, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, and other assigned technical cardiac studies
• Accurately identify, monitor, and assess cardiac rhythm changes during diagnostic procedures
• Coordinate patient scheduling and manage related administrative and office duties
• Utilize office equipment and systems, including fax machines, computers, and multi-line phone systems
• Train and orient new employees on procedures and departmental workflows
• Provide operational support and assume designated Lead Technician responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Technician, as required
