About The Position

Account Manager Position Summary: The primary function of an Account Manager is to establish and maintain strong client relationships and develop strategies to improve sales with new and existing accounts across multiple yards. Duties & Responsibilities: Inside sales support for strategic accounts. Develop relationships with new and underperforming accounts. Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer service. Increase the sale of new products and identify opportunities for expanding the overall product offering. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, orders, quotes and pricing. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending PKs, educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Answer technical questions across the entire product line. Collaborate with outside sales and yard managers to develop an overall sales strategy focused on growth and profitability. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Proficient in Trend, MS TEAMS, GTS Direct and the Web Dashboard/Portal
