Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s or 3 years related experience.
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 / Tier 2 preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, automotive Core Tools, APQP, PPAP, CP, PFMEA, GR&R.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications a plus (OSHA 30, first Aid/ CPR, HAZWOPER, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve QMS to ensure compliance with IATF16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 and customer-specific requirements.
  • Manage controlled documents, procedures, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
  • Coordinate internal audits and maintain audit schedules.
  • Support management reviews, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; track findings and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate safety training (PPE use, Lock-out/Tagout, hazard communication, emergency response, etc.).
  • Maintain OSHA logs, injury/illness data, and other safety documentation.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
  • Support development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  • Conduct drills (fire, spill response, evacuation) and evaluate effectiveness.
