About The Position

The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager will lead Hyper’s initiatives' to drive environmental sustainability, workplace safety, and corporate responsibility across all electrical manufacturing operations. This position serves as a key liaison between Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, manage ESG data and reporting, and advance company-wide goals related to energy efficiency, responsible sourcing, and employee well-being. The ESG Program Manager will play a vital role in aligning Hyper’s manufacturing processes with sustainable practices that reduce waste, conserve resources, and uphold the highest standards of product stewardship and ethical governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading EHS, ESG, or sustainability programs within manufacturing or electrical equipment environments.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001, and RoHS/REACH regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience developing, tracking, and reporting ESG metrics and sustainability KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing operations, including production, assembly, and prototype/test lab environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving regulatory compliance, building safety culture, and implementing sustainable process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, or ISSP Sustainability credentials.
  • Experience with ESG and EHS management systems and ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Enablon, Intelex, or similar).
  • Experience leading supplier sustainability and responsible sourcing programs in complex, multi-tier supply chains.
  • Industry background in power distribution, electrical assemblies, or low-voltage component manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Own environmental and OSHA compliance across manufacturing operations and maintain ISO 14001–aligned EMS.
  • Lead site safety programs, audits, training, and incident investigations.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon/GHG reduction.
  • Define and execute the company’s EHS and ESG strategy and reporting (GRI, SASB, CDP).
  • Partner with Supply Chain on supplier sustainability, ethical sourcing, and conflict-minerals compliance.
  • Embed safety and sustainability into product design, operations, and facilities.
  • Maintain inspection readiness and regulatory documentation.
  • Track and report environmental, safety, and ESG performance metrics.
  • Advise leadership on evolving regulatory, environmental, and ESG standards.
  • Lead employee engagement, training, and continuous improvement programs in safety and sustainability.
