We're seeking a proactive and dedicated EHS Manager to lead our health and safety initiatives across our Chicago and Morristown locations. This role is critical to fostering a safe, compliant, and health-conscious workplace. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in dynamic environments and committed to continuous improvement. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
OSHA certification or equivalent EHS credentials.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EHS Coordinator role.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards including OSHA, EPA, and ANSI.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not available).
Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong leadership and employee training capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility, including machinery.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with leadership to define and drive EHS goals and strategic objectives.
Deliver engaging training sessions on health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
Develop and implement effective solutions to address hygiene, health, and safety risks.
Introduce and maintain protocols that align with evolving regulatory standards.
Monitor daily operations and employee activities to ensure a safe working environment.
Prepare detailed documentation including assessments, incident reports, and safety manuals.
Serve as the primary liaison with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
Submit compliance documentation and reports to relevant agencies in a timely manner.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in EHS practices.
Lead the company's safety committee, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Travel regularly between Chicago and Morristown to support both locations.
Actively contribute to team success and company-wide goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
