About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to support our manufacturing operations in Manor, Texas. This hands‑on internship provides real‑world EHS experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment and is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field. You’ll work closely with the EHS team to support compliance, safety initiatives, sustainability projects, and continuous improvement efforts that help protect our people and our workplace.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related program
  • Strong interest in workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Basic understanding of EHS laws and regulations (OSHA knowledge a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environment
  • Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish or German) a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews across departments
  • Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification, recommending corrective actions
  • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and report preparation
  • Review, update, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and records
  • Analyze EHS data and safety metrics alongside the EHS Specialist
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact
  • Support compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations on safety‑related initiatives
