About The Position

The candidate would be responsible for developing a comprehensive EHS&S weekly/monthly compliance walk through program for the BM&Co Distribution Centers that meets all applicable company, federal, state, and local environmental, safety & health regulations. The position would provide the intern an opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field of environmental, safety, health, and exposure to manufacturing processes/procedures

Requirements

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of basic federal, state, and local environmental, safety & health regulations.
• Looking for a candidate with a track in environmental science, safety, industrial hygiene, or other STEM fields.

Responsibilities

• Working with BM&Co Distribution Centers and the EHS&S Operations group that establishes a checklist for all weekly and monthly inspections and any individual checklist for required programs including Environmental - ventilation, water, and storage of waste Health and Safety areas - Emergency equipment and Walking-Working Surfaces, site security
