Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with PSM principles and industrial safety is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Quick adaptability to industrial settings and effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize mechanical integrity data for equipment such as tanks, stills, pumps, and relief valves.
  • Assist with redlining and updating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Support the review and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Research and help define procedures for relief valve recertification.
  • Assist in addressing new Process Safety Management (PSM) action items identified during the December 2025 audit.
  • Track and support closure of action items from Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) related to acetaldehyde, C1 & CIA, alcohol storage tanks, and Bread Batch processes.
  • Support follow-up for LC Bulk Tanks, Filtration, and Filling Stations.
