About The Position

About the Role: As the EHS specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compliance of our site operations. You will lead initiatives to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and foster a culture of safety and sustainability. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving continuous improvement and supporting colleagues in maintaining safe systems of work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an EHS/TPS management role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
  • Experience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) and risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and coach employees.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to prepare and present reports to management and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with industrial risks such as ATEX, fire safety, and process risk analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe work environment and promote a culture of safety across the site.
  • Conduct internal EHS/TPS inspections and implement preventive and corrective measures for identified risks.
  • Provide specialist advice, coaching, and practical support to colleagues to maintain safe systems of work.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular reports for local management and EHS regional management, including mandatory legal reports for public administrations.
  • Interact with public administrations and other stakeholders on EHS/TPS topics.
  • Communicate and train employees on EHS/TPS skills and policies.
  • Implement ADM EHS/TPS policies and ensure compliance with client and contractor requirements.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety systems and procedures to meet specific site requirements.
  • Monitor contractor health and safety documentation and working procedures.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
  • Participate in updating risk assessments and procedures related to industrial risks (e.g., ATEX, fire, process risk analyses, pressurized equipment).
