Since 1977, Child Crisis Arizona has been a symbol of hope, responding to the call of our community to prevent and intervene in child abuse and neglect. With unwavering dedication, we have nurtured and strengthened families, evolving our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of those we serve. Our mission is to provide children and youth in Northern Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect by creating strong and successful families. Our program is ready to hire an Extended Foster Care Success Coach to join the team in our state-wide extended foster care program. We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to building sustainable skills and support systems for young adults aging out of foster care. In this role you will spend most of your time in direct engagement with young adults ages 17.5-21, providing advocacy, skills developments, care coordination, and resources for young adults preparing for independence. You will help coach youth through identifying their goals, navigating service systems, communicating with their team members, supporting their activities, and modeling life skills. Much of the role requires a desire and comfortability with travel across multiple counties, to meet youth where they’re at, and familiarity with their neighborhood resources. Utilizing agency-stablished coaching models and youth-led DCS frameworks, you will support the young adults in establishing and maintaining essential life skills, housing, and career paths.
