EEG/Video Technician - Per Diem - NYP Brooklyn Methodist
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist has been providing outstanding medical care to the surrounding communities for over 135 years. We have a distinguished history of transformative innovation and are seeking a highly skilled EEG/Video Technician to serve as an integral part of our team. In this role, you will work with a group of highly trained technicians in performing a variety of state-of-the-art studies while serving as a vital resource to patients, physicians, and other technologists. You will perform routine, neonatal, ECI, ambulatory and video EEG recordings on adult and pediatric patients. This is a per diem position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA-approved EEG training program and/or a minimum of two years’ experience performing video EEG recordings on both adults and pediatric patients
- Knowledge of applicable computer operating systems and software
Nice To Haves
- Registered with the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
