Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus is seeking an EEG Tech to join our Sleep Lab team on a Per Diem basis! Job Overview This position obtains standard and special procedure EEG recordings including Evoked Potential recordings. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience as an EEG Technologist.

Responsibilities

  • Makes the appropriate calibration procedures of the EEG apparatus for special and standard recordings.
  • Adapts procedures to particular circumstances by adding electrodes in non-standard locations to devise the appropriate recording techniques.
  • Assists medical staff during special procedures by providing extra monitoring and extra electrode application.
  • Participates in research by collecting data such as case history, whether patient is left or right-handed, etc.
  • Gives direct technical descriptions of EEG changes to surgeons as they occur during monitoring.
  • Inspects and ensures proper maintenance of EEG and related equipment.
