Responsible for performing and/or assist the neurologists will all procedures performed in the EEG department. Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality at all times. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrate business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines. Perform all exams in the EEG department. Document exams done in the department. Assist the Chief EEG Technician as necessary. Maintain an accurate filing system. Handle in-patient and out-patient reports and direct them to the appropriate destination. Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies. Maintain equipment in good working order. Participate in department and hospital-wide Process Improvement Activities. Until all children are well. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must hold R. EEG T certification
  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) Certification, Required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), Preferred
