BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine.
Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures. Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.
Identify and correct for artifacts. Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
