About The Position

Interaxon (Muse) is a neurotechnology company building brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). Our Muse EEG headbands measure brain activity and deliver real-time feedback on mental states like focus, calm, and stress. Muse is used by clinicians, researchers, athletes, and individuals to support mindfulness, sleep, and mental health. www.choosemuse.com We are looking for a sales and customer service account manager with background in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or clinical research to work directly with EEG, Sleep and other researchers to support the sales cycle and their use of the project. This role will bridge between our research teams, who do cutting edge neuroscience research and build hardware and AI tools, and our customers, who are researchers and pharmaceutical companies. We provide sleep and EEG research solutions. The ideal candidate is technically curious, comfortable with some coding, has a background that allows them to understand a medical technology, and has a passion for and desire for sales and customer success.

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, engineering, or related)
• Ability to understand and communicate research or medical technology concepts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-facing mindset
• Comfort with technical tools and systems; basic technical literacy required
• Interest in or early experience with sales or customer success in a research or technical environment
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or ability to learn quickly
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with EEG or neuroscience research workflows
• Experience in a sleep lab or clinical research setting
• Experience with research, clinical, enterprise, or pharma customers
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools or data-driven systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for research customers
• Develop a deep understanding of research products and workflows to help researchers use the platform effectively
• Provide front-line customer support, including issue diagnosis and guidance for research clients
• Own issue intake, triage, and escalation, partnering closely with Research and Development teams to ensure timely, effective resolution
• Create, track, and manage Jira tickets to document issues and follow them through to completion
