About The Position

Avita Health System serves the communities of Crawford and Richland counties with three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. The system has tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners, with a mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. The Education & Training Center Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support for the Education Department and Training Center at the Galion location. This role involves coordinating class and student schedules, managing communications, and supporting the department's workflow. The Coordinator also assists the HealthStream Coordinator and provides backup support to ensure continuity of education and compliance activities. This position requires collaboration with educators, department leaders, students, staff, and community members to ensure educational programs are organized, effectively communicated, and efficiently delivered.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating class schedules
  • Managing student scheduling
  • Ensuring timely and professional phone and email communication
  • Supporting the overall workflow of the department
  • Assisting the HealthStream Coordinator as needed
  • Serving as backup support during the HealthStream Coordinator’s absence to ensure continuity of education and compliance activities
  • Working collaboratively with educators, department leaders, students, staff and community member to ensure educational program are organized, communicated effectively, and delivered efficiently
