About The Position

The Southeastern California Conference Office of Education is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant / Registrar / Office Manager to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Superintendent of Schools and the Office of Education. This position serves in three key capacities: Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, Registrar for TK–10 schools, and Office Manager for the Office of Education. This individual will play an important role in maintaining student and school records, preparing reports and diplomas, coordinating meetings, tracking compliance-related documentation, and supporting departmental operations, events, and other office functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to maintain confidentiality while working closely with school leaders and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or at least five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school leaders, staff, and constituents.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Must support the mission and values of the Southeastern California Conference and its educational ministry.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a service-oriented, faith-based environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the Adventist K–12 education system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools.
  • Maintain school registers and student records for TK–10 schools.
  • Prepare reports, diplomas, and other official education records and documents.
  • Coordinate Board of Education meetings and principals’ meetings, including scheduling, communication, and related administrative support.
  • Maintain compliance-related records, including evaluations and leave tracking.
  • Support Office of Education operations, events, and departmental activities.
  • Provide general office management and administrative support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
