Position Summary The Editorial Specialist is part of the Short Reads team at Pew Research Center (the organization's data journalism blog) and assists with copy editing, proofreading, number-checking, fact-checking and quality control in a data-driven environment. The role includes copy editing and checking digital content including blog posts, research reports, newsletters, graphics and social media posts, with occasional opportunities for original research and writing. The Editorial Specialist works closely with researchers, writers, editors, graphic artists, web producers and communications and social media staff to improve publications across research areas within the Center. This position reports to the Associate Director, Short Reads.
