About The Position

ShopMy is seeking a taste-driven and culturally fluent editor to lead our shopper-facing curation across creators and brands. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping how shoppers discover, engage with, and return to ShopMy. You will be responsible for packaging creators, brands, and categories into compelling narratives that drive both acquisition and retention, ensuring ShopMy feels like a destination, not just a catalog. Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience at the intersection of fashion/beauty editorial and digital commerce, ideally within a creator-driven platform, marketplace, or brand. You have demonstrated success in curating creators, brands, and categories into compelling shopper experiences.
  • Strong editorial judgment, with deep knowledge of fashion, beauty, and the creator economy.
  • Proven ability to balance taste and intuition with data and analytics to drive results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguity-rich environment.
  • Demonstrated success in creating engaging content or programming that drove growth, engagement, or conversion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in e-commerce platforms, creator economy, or influencer marketing beyond editorial roles
  • Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools (Amplitude, GA, Looker/Tableau) for testing and optimization
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing tools (Klaviyo, Braze, or similar) to align editorial decisions with shopper messaging
  • Comfort collaborating with Design to develop compelling visual/editorial packaging
  • Strong trend-spotting instincts across adjacent categories (home, travel, lifestyle) even if not core expertise

Responsibilities

  • Own the editorial strategy end-to-end. Define, execute, and continuously refine ShopMy’s editorial vision across creators, brands, and collections.
  • Curate and program editorial content. Select creators, brands, and themes, and manage an editorial calendar that keeps the platform fresh, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Design to integrate and amplify editorial choices across the site, campaigns, and lifecycle flows.
  • Balance taste with data. Combine cultural fluency with shopper insights to make curation decisions that optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Innovate through experimentation. Test new storytelling formats, packaging, and shopper experiences that surprise and delight while driving measurable outcomes.
