About The Position

The H-E-B Creative Studio brings our brand to life through compelling video and visual storytelling across digital, social, broadcast, in-store, and retail media channels. The Videographer / Editor role is a hybrid creative and technical position responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video content that is on-brand, strategically aligned, and production-ready. This role blends hands-on video production with post-production editing, supporting projects from shoot through final delivery. The Videographer / Editor works closely with creatives, producers, and studio partners to execute video shoots, assemble edits, and deliver polished assets that perform across platforms. This role is designed for someone comfortable operating both behind the camera and in the edit, depending on project needs and production cycles. Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in video production, editing, or hybrid videographer roles
  • Proven reel demonstrating both shooting and editing capabilities
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Resolve
  • Working knowledge of basic color workflows and audio editing
  • Proven ability to move between production and post-production with confidence
  • Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
  • Positive, solutions-first mindset in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to handle quick-turn content and more complex projects as needed
  • Understanding of how production choices impact editing, timelines, and outcomes
  • Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
  • An ownership mentality with humility and team-first execution
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume creative environment?
  • Travel for shoots and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed?
  • Lift equipment and assist with on-set setup and strike?

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with After Effects or motion templates is a plus
  • Experience working in a commercial studio or agency environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute studio and location video shoots across campaign, product, social, and in-store content
  • Operate camera, lighting, and basic audio setups for small to mid-scale shoots
  • Execute shoots based on creative direction, shot lists, and production plans
  • Support larger productions in collaboration with producers, photographers, etc.
  • Capture footage with attention to brand standards, framing, lighting, and downstream edit needs
  • Edit video content from initial assembly through final delivery across multiple formats
  • Perform basic color correction and exposure balancing to maintain visual consistency
  • Sync, clean, and mix audio including dialogue, music, and sound effects
  • Integrate branded graphics, titles, and lower thirds using existing templates
  • Organize and maintain clean project files, timelines, and media for collaboration and reuse
  • Partner with creatives and producers to understand project goals and delivery requirements
  • Collaborate with studio teammates to ensure smooth handoff between production and post
  • Prepare and export assets according to platform and delivery specifications
  • Support organized workflows for working files within Media Asset Management systems
  • Stay current on platform specs and video best practices
