Position Location: This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preferencewill be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Requirements

  • Education: College degree required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant business experience across multiple process areas, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, IT, Commercial Operations or Finance roles
  • 10+ years of experience working in SAP (Sales and Distribution module and/or Logistics modules) with ABAP/4 or configuration expertise
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of EDI protocols, standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), and communication methods (e.g., AS2, FTP, VANs)
  • Knowledge of Order to Cash processes - SAP transactions and order types, billing output setups, EDI set up, etc.
  • Strong financial knowledge of invoicing and order to cash processes
  • Experience managing multi-phase technology projects, balancing scope, timeline, and resources.
  • Systems Architecture: Deep understanding of systems integration, software development methodologies, and IT infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem Solving: Innovative approach to resolving technical challenges and process bottlenecks.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Strong facilitation skills for working with diverse teams and resolving conflicts
  • Change Management: Guiding organizations through technology-driven change, fostering adoption and minimizing resistance
  • Ability to develop and execute high-level strategies for product launches, aligning project goals with overall business objectives while driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Strategic Thinking: A capacity for aligning technical solutions with business objectives and long-term vision

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement future roadmap for systems, tools, and processes across Customer Operations that supports key business strategies and tactics
  • Facilitate continuous improvement leveraging systems and processes to enhance business results or mitigate risk
  • Align with IT to escalate business critical system issues and ensure that IT assigns appropriate priority for our systems to resume normal operating as soon as possible to minimize business disruption.
  • Act as SuperUser for both SAP and EDI, ensuring the department is leveraging all available tools/systems. Assist other departments with SuperUser related requests and help to grow SuperUser proficiency within the Customer operations user community.
  • Represent business teams in scoping, fit and gap workshops for projects and enhancements; propose solutions leveraging experience and expertise
  • Own and execute all invoice month end activities and processes (Runbook) within Supply Chain; trouble shoot/assist all functional areas on month end close related to order to invoice expertise
  • Support business continuity planning; lead business interruption plan and resolution with IT team
  • Lead solution management and testing; work with peers on testing and review

  • The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $103,600 - $ 192,400; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.
  • Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
