About The Position

We are seeking a passionate, spiritually mature leader to shepherd our church and Salt Company through worship and lead the development of a vibrant, gospel-centered worship culture. This role is ideal for a devoted follower of Jesus who combines pastoral instincts, musical excellence, and leadership in a fast-paced church-planting environment. The Worship Ministry Lead will lead and shape the worship life of the church by overseeing weekend services and Salt Company gatherings, developing musicians, and ensuring a cohesive, excellent, and theologically faithful worship experience. You’ll work closely with elders and staff to define vision, disciple leaders, and raise up future worship and production leaders who can be sent to serve new churches as the mission expands.

Our worship ministry is in the earliest stages of development as we prepare to launch as a church plant. The Worship Ministry Lead will play a key role in shaping the vision, culture, and rhythms of worship from the very beginning, recruiting and developing musicians and volunteers, building sustainable systems, and creating worship environments that serve the preaching of God’s Word and the mission of the church.

Keystone Church of Ankeny is a dynamically growing church in the fast-growing city of Ankeny, Iowa (a northern Suburb of Des Moines). We are a 10-year-old church averaging around 1,500 on Sunday morning. We are elder-led, preach through books of the Bible, and take our mission to help people know and follow Jesus very seriously.
