Under general supervision at an advanced level determines initial and ongoing eligibility for all programs of assistance, including but not limited to Supplemental Nutrition assistance Program (SNAP), multiple Medicaid categories, Emergency Assistance (EA), Low Income Energy Assistance Programs (LIEAP), School Clothing Assistance (SCA), while meeting deadlines and complying with Federal and State policies and office procedures. Conducts face to face and telephone interviews and travels to client locations as necessary to evaluate applications and determine eligibility for all programs of assistance. Works closely with supervisor providing input. Serve as a lead worker of unit, Assign and review work of others. Mandatory overtime may be required for this position.
