World Relief Upstate SC is seeking a dynamic Economic Empowerment Specialist to guide newly arrived refugees and other immigrants on their path toward economic self-sufficiency. This role goes beyond job placement, providing holistic support through job development, case management, employment preparation, and collaboration on long-term career goals. The Specialist will work directly with clients to secure meaningful employment, support job retention and re-placement when needed, and provide counseling on job upgrades and career pathway opportunities. In addition, this role plays a key part in the educational side of resettlement, designing and leading workshops, trainings, and informational sessions that equip clients with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate the U.S. workforce and adapt successfully to their new community. By leveraging strong employer partnerships, expanding professional networks, and providing both practical and educational support, this position helps open doors to sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures for those rebuilding their lives in our community. This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until October 9, 2026, and contingent upon funding extension.
