UPLIFT Desk is seeking an Ecommerce Web Designer to create best-in-class graphics for our websites. This mid-level web designer will create engaging, user-friendly, and high-converting ecommerce web pages, components, and digital experiences. This role involves taking projects from concept to final mockups, incorporating UX/UI principles, and collaborating across teams to ensure quality execution. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in web design, specifically within an ecommerce environment
3+ years professional Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator experience
Strong portfolio with samples of your work. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
Basic understanding of responsive layouts and UI/UX principles
Experience working collaboratively with developers and creative teams

Nice To Haves

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your designs and their business impact
Experience with CMS platforms (such as Contentful), and ecommerce platforms (such as BigCommerce or Shopify)
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity building and maintaining design systems and component libraries
Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques and A/B testing tools (VWO)

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements and marketing goals into effective wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Create visually appealing, user-friendly designs for product pages, landing pages, banners, and additional ecommerce content
Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
Follow existing style guides to maintain brand consistency
Maintain and update website components and design assets over time
Prepare design assets for web development (icons, images, fonts)
Collaborate with other designers and developers to ensure accurate design implementation
Present design decisions to stakeholders and accept constructive input
Help with additional digital marketing materials as needed
Stay current with the latest ecommerce trends, UX/UI best practices, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies
