About The Position

The Senior Sales Analyst is a critical support role on the Amazon Field Sales team, using data to enable efficient processes and deliver actionable insights that drive growth. The SSA will be responsible for driving optimized reporting solutions that both ensure a clear understanding of our business trends for a range of cross-functional teams, and enable the business to better support Amazon and the Business Unit's evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Proficient on key Clorox/Sales analytical tools
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Business through Analytics & Reporting
  • Create, maintain, and automate complex performance reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for both retail and eCommerce teams.
  • Own weekly and monthly performance reporting for the Amazon business, including sales, profitability, share, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
  • Monitor performance against forecasts, identify drivers of variance, and highlight risks or opportunities.
  • Independently gather, interpret, and analyze large datasets to identify key business drivers and insights.
  • Customer Planning & Business Analysis
  • Engage directly with retail buyers and key customer contacts to support execution of the field and customer business plans.
  • Mine data to identify volume and AMPS opportunities that inform proactive customer strategies.
  • Support demand planning, promotional effectiveness, pricing, and inventory management in partnership with Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of trade promotions, pricing strategies, and media investments.
  • Category & Market Insights
  • Partner with Category, Insights, and Marketing teams to evaluate market and category dynamics, competitive performance, and shopper behavior across retail and Amazon.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to optimize assortment, content, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth & Eliminate Waste
  • Leverage tools, processes, and resources to enhance field and eCommerce sales efficiency.
  • Communicate insights effectively across a variety of stakeholders - including Field Sales, Sales Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Leadership - to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Amazon Team Lead, Planners, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align on business goals and execution.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
