About The Position
About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of Work Performs a variety of cardiac testing including, stress, transesophageal, transthoracic, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE, 3D, strain, specialty and fetal echocardiograms); calculates acquired data and prepares study for medical staff interpretation.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echos and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs.
- CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire required Or CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required Or CRT-Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography HDVCH Upon Hire required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of start date required

- Bachelor's Degree skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through schooling training and experience related to echo including in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echo and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs.
