About The Position

We are currently seeking an eBook Production Specialist (Contractor) to support a high-volume backlist accessibility initiative. Reporting to the Senior Print Production Manager and working closely with the eBook Production Coordinator, this is a 6-month, part-time contract role. It is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in digital publishing or eBook production who is ready to take ownership of a structured, high-volume workflow. The right candidate is a self-starter who operates well independently, is highly organized and process-oriented, and brings a strong focus on quality and accountability. This role will focus exclusively on preparing, tracking, and quality-checking eBook files as they move through our outsourced conversion workflow, ensuring our backlist catalog meets current quality and accessibility standards. This is a remote contract position at $28 per hour, capped at 29 hours per week. The role is fully remote, and a company computer and necessary software will be provided.
