About The Position

WorldWinner is the most recognized and trusted skill games technology platform and brand for players who want to Play to Win. We bring games to the world that inspire people to play for more. With over 20 challenging games where the outcome is dependent on player skills versus chance across a content library spanning classic card games to casual favorites to retro arcade games, WorldWinner has something for every gamer. Backed by Platinum Equity and strategic investors, we are looking for new team members in various disciplines to help us build a world-class gaming platform on mobile and beyond! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Strategist to develop and implement social media strategies, manage online presence, create content, engage with players and analyze data to improve online visibility and brand effectiveness. This is a 3-month contract opportunity, with the potential option to extend or convert to full-time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success developing comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and target audiences, as well as creating engaging content for various social media platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in social media - agency (or client-side equivalent) as a Community Manager, Social Strategist, or Copywriter, preferably in gaming or entertainment
  • Appetite for all things digital and social, up to date on the latest platforms and technologies, as well as a desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement in cultural trends
  • Video production/publishing, graphic design and/or content creation experience. Ability to help create and guide content.
  • Have a strong visual eye and understanding of creating photo and video assets
  • Must be familiar with the gaming space and have an overall passion for pop culture
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must include portfolio or links to professional work

Responsibilities

  • Develop WorldWinner’s strategy across various social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Kick, Discord, and Reddit
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to engage in wider cultural conversations and engagement trends
  • Discover the latest topics and trends on social
  • Provide social strategy support for game launches, new features, and integrated marketing efforts
  • Manage content production strategy, ideation, and briefing for influencers, freelancers, agencies, etc.
  • Experiment with new content formats and viral mechanics to drive engagement.
  • Maintain up-to-date list of influencers in key areas and develop a shortlist of potential influencers in line with key topics to amplify reach and engagement
  • Analyze and report on content and program performance data to drive continuous improvement and optimization
