As the Early Learning Director, you’ll lead the overall operations of our early learning childcare program—creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children, families, and staff can thrive. You’ll guide a talented team of early learning professionals, implement the YUSA Creative Curriculum, and ensure excellence in licensing, accreditation, health, and safety. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a licensed, certified, military, or tribal childcare program with significant responsibility for: Curriculum development and implementation Staff supervision, training, and development
  • Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements upon hire, including: Drug and alcohol screening Criminal background check Tuberculosis (TB) test CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of a licensed early learning childcare facility
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of all enrolled children
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of teachers and early learning professionals
  • Recruit staff, interview families, and facilitate trainings, meetings, and professional development
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial accountability for the program
  • Maintain accurate program files, records, and statistical data
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage with qualified teachers and assistants
  • Build strong relationships with families, community partners, schools, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • Promote program growth, quality, sustainability, and community engagement
