Early Intervention Service Coordinators (EISCs) are the heart of Early Intervention! They provide service coordination for children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program and support to their families and caregivers. Research shows that birth to three is a critical period for working with families to support their competence and confidence as their child’s first and most important teacher. The birth-to-three period offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns. EISCs typically have the flexibility of telework and a hybrid workplace.
