Early Intervention Service Coordinators (EISCs) are the heart of the Early Intervention system! They play a vital role in supporting children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program and empowering families as their child’s first and most important teachers. Research shows that birth to age three is a critical period for building family competence and confidence—offering a powerful opportunity to positively influence a child’s development and learning. EISCs often enjoy the flexibility of telework and a hybrid work environment, allowing them to balance family engagement in the community with collaborative team support.
