The Early Head Start Lead Teacher implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum for a group of infants and toddlers (birth to three-years old) in an Early Head Start classroom, and provides caring and quality early childhood experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prioritize and adhere to Active Safety and Supervision procedures and policies Provide daily routine care for infants and toddlers including diapering, feeding, and safe sleep practices Develop and implement lesson plans based on established Early Head Start curriculum Responsible for directing and leading the classroom team Complete parent-teacher conferences and required home visits This is a classified position reporting to the Education Site Manager.
