At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) , our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services. We are currently seeking a nurturing and imaginative Lead Teacher (Infant Toddler) to join our Early Childhood Education team. In this role, you'll care for and teach children ages six weeks to three years, while creating a safe, responsive, and developmentally rich environment. Requirements

• Caring, upbeat personality
• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Development
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with eligibility for a study plan
• Previous experience in a Head Start Program or other Early Childhood setting preferred
• Minimum two years' experience meeting position competencies
• Daily access to reliable transportation to Bronx, NY
• Flexibility with assigned work location(s)
• Ability to pass and maintain acceptable record related to the mandated criminal background check process

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers
• Implement integrated service delivery aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, DOH Article 47 Guidelines, and CMCS policies
• Recognize and support the individual needs of each child's culture, language, and abilities
• Establish daily routines and smooth transitions that foster emotional security
• Create nurturing, responsive interactions and environments
• Accurately document developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD (TSG) and ChildPlus on a weekly basis
