About The Position

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead 2’s Teacher to lead our classroom for 2-year-old children. Our center offers a high-quality early childhood education environment where toddlers explore, discover, and grow through play-based learning and individualized attention. Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) , or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; OR at least 5 years of professional experience working with young children plus high school diploma.
Prior experience managing or leading a toddler or preschool classroom preferred.
Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for toddlers.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Must meet applicable New York State early childhood educator or center teacher requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the classroom for children approximately age 2, ensuring a safe , nurturing , and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Mentor and guide assistant teachers and co-teach to maintain high classroom standards.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with families through daily communication, updates, and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with New York State Early Childhood regulations and center licensing requirements.
