About the Leslie Family Preschool: As a Preschool Teacher at the OFJCC Leslie Family Preschool you will create and implement programs and promote learning in a licensed, Reggio -inspired, play based, constructivist preschool program serving children ages 18 months to 5 years in accordance with our guiding principles and values. Requirements

12 or more ECE units (AA and/or BA degree in ECE or related field & teacher permit preferred)
At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child care/educational environment.
Flexible and enthusiastic.
Love what you do... seriously, like REALLY love it.
Friendly, warm and nurturing.
Be a nice person & work well in a team.
Have some other interesting interests or skills... cooking, dancing, music, woodworking, juggling, origami, etc.
Write well and be comfortable speaking to parents...both when its easy AND when it's not so easy.
Think teachers are heroes and children will save the world.
Comparable experience and willingness to enroll in ECE classes will be considered

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Constructivist/Reggio Emilia Approach to teaching and learning desirable
