About The Position

Responsibilities: - Teacher will create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for students in the early childhood program. - Teacher will provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow. - Teacher will foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities. - Teacher will utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment. - Teacher will assess and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians. - Teacher will collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs. Requirements: - Teacher must have a CDA, Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or another related field. - Teacher must have two-years previous experience working with students. - Teacher must possess knowledge of child welfare and development principles. - Teacher must have strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. - Teacher must be proficient in creating and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. - Teacher must have the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. No hiring decision will be made until copies of these Clearances are on file with Building Blocks Learning Center. (OR: If selected for employment, your hiring will be conditional pending receipt of certified results of all required clearances. If clearance results are not received by the agency within the first 30 days of employment, you will be placed on unpaid suspension until certified clearances are on file with agency.) At the time of employment you will be required to provide Building Blocks Learning Center with the ORIGINAL CERTIFIED Clearances for your Employment File as required by State Licensing Regulations.
