About The Position

Are you passionate about creating meaningful experiences and shaping the future of workplace programs? As an Early Career Development Intern under the HR Manager- Early Career Development, you will play a key role in enhancing the internship experience for a diverse group of talented individuals. This hands-on opportunity allows you to develop skills in program coordination, event planning, and strategic communication while working closely with HR and business leaders. You will assist in designing engaging onboarding experiences, curating events that spark meaningful connections, and fine-tuning program processes that elevate the intern journey. You'll play an integral part in coordinating communications, managing program documentation, and gathering insights that drive continuous improvement. Your work will not only enhance the day-to-day experience of our interns but also equip you with invaluable skills in program management, event planning, and strategic communication. This position is expected to start in-person around March 2026 and continue through the entire summer term (i.e., March 2026 through August 2026). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree Human Resources, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Heavy interest in early career and talent development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a central location (e.g., SharePoint or Google Drive) for storing documents, presentations, and historical program data.
  • Training guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Evaluation and feedback templates for supervisors.
  • Exit process documents (e.g., offboarding checklists, feedback forms).
  • Ensure policies, guidelines, and expectations are clear and up-to-date.
  • Include information about company culture, DEI initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a master calendar for key program milestones, such as onboarding, check-ins, events, and deadlines.
  • Organize and update records of intern contact information, start/end dates, and assigned projects.
  • Track progress on intern deliverables.
  • Maintain a database for performance evaluations and feedback.
  • Plan and organize orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and final presentations.
  • Arrange logistics for location, speakers, or virtual setups.
  • Prepare welcome kits, schedules, and training materials.
  • Ensure technology access, email accounts, and workspace setups are complete before arrival.
  • Act as the point of contact for intern questions and concerns.
  • Send out program updates, reminders, and key information.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings between interns and their mentors/managers.
