About The Position
As an Engineering Manager, you would be the manager and tech lead of 1-2 of our Scrum development teams. Each team is made up of 2-4 other Software Engineers of varying seniority, as well as one QA Analyst or QA Engineer dedicated to the team's projects.
Requirements
- .NET (4.5 or above)
- C#
- React
- Some legacy Angular/AngularJS
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 + Azure SQL Hybrid
- Azure/Colo
- At least 2 years people management experience
- At least 5 years engineering experience
- At least 2 years experience with our primary technologies.
- At this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with some or all of our tech stack
- Web scalability problems and patterns
- Familiarity with US electoral politics, especially campaign finance and disclosure
Responsibilities
- Working with your team's Product Manager and Tech Lead to estimate and refine future work
- Regularly reporting on team progress and health
- Managing team members to improve/maintain high performance and morale
- Identifying and overcome obstacles to project success
