About The Position

This role will maintain two hotel properties, ensuring excellent physical condition. responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical/mechanical repairs, and pool/spa maintenance, all while adhering to safety protocols. We're looking for proactive, highly motivated team members who are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years in maintenance (hospitality experience preferred)
• Proficiency in basic repairs; familiarity with maintenance software
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, stand/walk entire shift, and perform strenuous tasks
• Flexibility in scheduling (24/7 operation)
• Adhering to Newport Handbook policies is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC)
• Conduct routine pool/spa maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance
• Utilize quore software for logging repairs and communication
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards (lock out/tag out, pci, fire, osha)
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal tasks
• Provide excellent guest service and contribute to a positive team environment
