About The Position

The Drop Ship Major Accounts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment and delivery of sales orders to the company’s national retail accounts, with a focus on drop shipping operations. This role ensures compliance with customer requirements, accuracy in order processing, and the efficient movement of merchandise. The supervisor will coordinate logistics, monitor order tracking, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for major account shipments.

Requirements

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
One to three years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse operations, e-commerce fulfillment, or drop shipping.
Ability to work overtime on a regular basis and weekends
Ability to work in an open, warehouse environment
Strong knowledge of drop shipping processes and e-commerce fulfillment.
Computer proficiency including word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports.
Ability to manage production, allocate resources, and coordinate people and equipment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Knowledge of inventory management and shipping software, including EDI platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve shipping and order fulfillment issues.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadline constraints.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally.
Demonstrates success in developing, incorporating, maintaining and improving compliance standards, processes and protocols
Maintain consistent, dependable attendance
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive hand motions, use hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel; push and/or pull with arms and reach with arms and/or hands; crouch, kneel, crawl or bend; climb/balance.
Exerts in excess of 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the drop ship order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
Analyze, review, coordinate, and track time-sensitive drop ship and bulk sales orders.
Supervise the selection, preparation, and packing of merchandise for drop ship orders.
Maintain compliance with major account shipping and routing requirements, including EDI compliance.
Ensure accurate inventory management and timely order updates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and EDI platforms.
Coordinate drop shipping logistics with third-party carriers and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor order tracking and resolve any shipment discrepancies or billing issues.
Record and report shipments using EDI, web portals, back-office, and other solutions.
Maintain detailed and accurate records related to order fulfillment, shipping, and compliance.
Supervise and support warehouse staff in processing and fulfilling drop ship and major account orders.
Maintain department facilities, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to safety, etiquette, and employee relations.
