ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for interviewing, training, and selecting employees for the department. Respond to and handle employee concerns in a timely and efficient manner. Recommend or take appropriate action when administering disciplinary processes in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring the work of the team members in assigned area(s). Responsible for monitoring legal compliance with federal, state and gaming laws. Weighs, counts, wraps and records slot drop according to procedure. Sorts, counts and records contents of table game drop boxes according to procedure. Verifies quantity against records. Transfers coin from hard count room to coin storage room. Prepares bank deposits of coin. Wraps bank purchases of coin. Responsible for general upkeep of hard and soft count room. Repairs and maintains count room equipment. Always presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Adding machine, computer terminal operation and currency counting machine skills required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Prior money handling and coin room experience preferred (bank, casino, sales, etc.). Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule. Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the work day. The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift. The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously. The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms. The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping. Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, second hand smoke, and bright lights. Ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
