About The Position

Allcare Transportation Services is a non-emergency medical transportation service located in Raleigh, NC. We provide safe, reliable and compassionate transportation services for individuals who need assistance traveling to and from medical appointments. Requirements

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be 25yrs or older
• Must have current BLS certification
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable, punctual and reliable
• Must pass background check, alcohol and drug test

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in transporting clients particularly in NEMT is preferred

Responsibilities

• Pick up clients from home or care facilities in a timely manner
• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and timely arrival of passengers while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers)
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure clients comfort and well-being whilst been transported
• Perform vehicle inspection prior to the start of every shift ensuring that vehicle is clean and well maintained
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to management
