About The Position

Bethel School District is seeking qualified applicants for Substitute Bus Drivers for our Special Services Transportation department. Hours can range from 6:30am to 5:15pm and would total 2 to 7.75 hours daily, depending on the route(s). If you are hired as a Substitute Driver in Bethel School District, payroll paperwork, a Fingerprint Based Criminal background check and pre-employment drug test must be completed at the District Office prior to working. There are fees associated with the fingerprint process. Please follow this link for a list of acceptable documents you will need to bring in for payroll. You may present one from list A or a combination of one selection from List B and one selection from List C. Additionally, you will need to provide a voided check or statement from your bank identifying the routing and account numbers of the account you would like your paycheck deposited to.

Requirements

  • Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and possess a combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the requisite abilities.
  • Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be substituted.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a valid Oregon Driver's License and CDL before beginning the job is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual candidates and candidates experienced in working with bilingual students and families will receive preferential consideration.
