About The Position

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a Driver to safely and timely deliver vehicles, and in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors, to their appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position offers a starting pay of $17.60 per hour and is located at 3125 Veterans Memorial Hwy Suite 2 Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, operating brands like Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. The company, privately held by the Taylor family, manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted U.S driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels
Ensure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline, if needed
Complete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles
Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
May be asked to assist customers with directions, car options, luggage loading and unloading and basic policy/procedures
Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
A variety of vehicles are driven in all weather and road conditions
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
