Driver/Tour Prep Tech
About The Position
The Driver/Tour Prep Tech is responsible for safely transporting gear or personnel to the proper venues at any time of the day. Other responsibilities include testing and preparation of cable, checking-in and checking-out gear, and building work trunks for tour. QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The Physical Requirements Checklist for this position is attached and is incorporated into this position description. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs
- Current driver's license and driving record that meets Clair driving policy standards
- Ability to pass all DOT required testing
- Ability to follow written/oral geographical directions
- Ability to account for daily driving expenses
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
Responsibilities
- Responsible for pick- up and delivery to local vendors
- Unload gear from and for deliveries
- See that gear gets to the proper department
- Take vehicles to be serviced
- Keep vehicles clean and orderly
- Pulling gear from inventory for work trunks
- Continually return gear to "like new" condition for reuse
- Assist with the check-in process of work trunks upon return from tour
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
- Assist with cycle count of gear
- Assist other departments as needed
